يعتبر كتاب السر من أشهر الكتب التي تم نشرها لعام 2006 والذي هو من تأليف روندا بارين بحيث تم إخراج فيلم سينمائي سابق يحاكي مضمون الكتاب.

تعتمد فكرة الكتاب على قانون يدعى قانون ” الجذب ” ويعود ذلك إلى التفكير الإيجابي، وكيف يمكننا خلق نتائج من خلال التفكير تجعل الحياة أفضل من حيث الصحة والسعادة والثروة.

روندا بايرن من مواليد 1951 أستراليا : هي كاتبة سيناريوهات ومنتجة تلفزيونية، ومن أشهر أعمالها كتاب السر  وفيلم السر.

Rhonda Byrne, born in 1951, Australia: is a screenwriter and TV producer, and her most famous work is The Secret Book and The Secret Movie.

وفي عام 2007 بلغت مبيعاتها من الكتاب أكثر من 19 مليون نسخة و 2 مليون نسخة من الفيلم.

In 2007, her book sales reached more than 19 million copies and 2 million copies of the film

ووفقا لمقالة نشرت في 2009 في مجلة فوربس، حقق الكتاب و الفيلم حوالى 300 مليون دولار.

According to an article published in 2009 in Forbes, the book and film made about $ 300 million

وذكر موقع فوربس أيضاً أن كتاب السر حقق لها دخلاً قدره 12 مليون دولار في عام 2006.
